Few months ago I decided to work on a personal video project.  I didn't really have a plan for it, just knew that I wanted to film a brief video of the surfing culture.  I woke every morning around 6am for a week and filmed the locals shredding the morning waves.  I was surprised to learned how many surfers were stoked to be in the film.  Even though I had no plans for the UPDRIFT project, I felt like it all came together very well.

All this footage was filmed on Nikon D810 paired with Sigma Art 35mm lens shot at 60 fps.   I love slow motion, so I slowed it down as much as I could without losing the flow of the video.
